About Glen Shinners

Glen has more than twenty five years of experience in public accounting with a number of firms. He is a graduate of LaSalle University. His experience with for-profit clients includes auto dealers, construction, DOD contractors, DCAA audits, healthcare, hospitality, leasing, manufacturing, professional practices, real estate operations and development (residential, commercial and industrial) retail and wholesale companies along with various other sundry fields. He has also worked with clients in the not-for-profit arena including business and professional associations, civic associations, condominium and homeowner associations, daycare centers, environmental organizations, mental health centers, residential facilities, schools and others.

Glen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). He is a past member of the AICPA Technical Standards Committee. He has served on various PICPA committees including the State Professional Ethics Committee, Editorial Board of The Pennsylvania CPA Journal, the Executive Committee for the PICPA's Greater Philadelphia Chapter, the Legislation and Local Taxation Committee for the Greater Philadelphia Chapter along with various other PICPA committees.

Glen has also been involved in the community having served in the past as a board member of various nonprofit organizations including the Frankford Boys Club, Philadelphia. Pa., Treasurer for The Friends of Peace Valley Nature Center, Doylestown, Pa., Treasurer for the Bucks County Audubon Society, New Hope, Pa., Treasurer for the Tohickon Lions, Point Pleasant, Pa. He also served in the past as an Elected Auditor for Plumstead Township, Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Central Bucks League of Services (CBLOS), Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce (CBCC) and participated in the CBCC Leadership Advancement Program.
